2-13.1 Panel from in front of Lan, her face once again not visible. She's leaning with her hands braced against the railing. Jane shifts to one side uncomfortably in the background, one hand playing with her bag strap.
LAN: They're doing some restructuring at work.
2-13.2 Panel from behind Lan. She's still bracing herself on the railing but now her head hangs low.
LAN: I'm worried I'm gonna lose my job.
2-13.3 Mid shot waist-up on Jane. She's stopped picking at her bag and her face looks like she's truly at a loss.
JANE: …That sucks, Lan.
2-13.4 Lan turns around and leans against the railing, attempting to casually rest her elbows on it. Her eyes still look sunken but otherwise her demeanor entirely shifts.
LAN: I heard a big sinkhole opened up out near Clay Springs. Isn't that where you're from?
2-13.5 Tiny panel that's just a closeup on Jane's right eye (our left).
